Skill Requirements:


Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Experience: 1 to less than 7 months


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Community health clinic or centre


Specific Skills: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Lift, turn or massage patients, Shave patients prior to operations, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Collect specimens


Additional Skills: Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens, Maintain inventory of supplies


Security and Safety: Drug test, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
