Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Specific Skills: Supervise registered nurses, nursing assistants and other nursing personnel, Ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed, Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures


Additional Skills - 2: Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel


Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Tuberculosis test


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence


Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
