Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: $13.50 to $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Edmonton and area, Alberta (10 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Continuing care assistant certification


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Specific Skills: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Lift, turn or massage patients, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher


Additional Skills: Supply and empty bed pans, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms


Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Tuberculosis test


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle
