Title: Independent Counselling Licensed practical nurse 

Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, On Call, Weekend, Day

Salary: To be negotiated

Location: Edmonton North, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure by the appropriate province or territory of work, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care or visiting care agency


Area of Specialization: Public and community health


Additional Skills: Monitor patients' progress and report any changes


Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Computer use


Other Information:Performance of LPN duties as specified by Alberta Health Service's Policies and Procedures. Training and monitoring of employee performance of delegated tasks.
