Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time leading Full Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day

Salary: $16.00 Hourly for 30 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (12 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Some high school, Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Hospital, Home care and visiting care agency, Home for the aged, Nursing or convalescent home, Rehabilitation centre, Physician's office


Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher


Additional Skills: Serve meal trays and feed patients, Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens


Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence


Essential Skills: Problem solving, Critical thinking, Computer use, Continuous learning
